I teamed up with Old Navy to imagine a more inclusive future through art and celebrate Black History Month with an exciting t-shirt design.

My shirt, “Black Joy” is an ode to the black women in my life, and the sense of magic that occurs when we come together. My shirt was available for purchase online and in stores throughout the month of February, and as a part of their Project WE initiative Old Navy donated $50,000 to The 15 Percent Pledge in support of their work to advance racial and economic equity for Black future founders, Black students, and Black people in the workforce.

Live and In Color

My collaboration with Old Navy was the first time since starting my art career that I flew out of state for a project photoshoot. The process was Covid safe and the crew consisted of majority Black/POC on-set professionals. It was so great to be among so many talented people to bring this project together! My photographer for this shoot was John Jay who has photographed the likes of Billie Eilish, Gabrielle Union and more!
